He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Richard Young and Sarah Bernita Dakan Young; his sisters, Kathleen Young, Patsy Wharton (James) and Eleanor Kay Busch; and his in-laws, Frank and Mary Minnite.

He is survived by : his wife Rose Marie Minnite Young of Sistersville, WV; his daughters, Stacey Kasun (Mark) of St. Mary's, WV and Kristina DeLisio (Bryan) of Mars, PA; his grandchildren, Gianna, Rocco DeLisio and Brody Kasun; his siblings, Vivian Young of Reston, VA and Jack Herrmann (Nancy) of Wheeling, WV; his sister-in-law Connie Koon (David) of Canonsburg, PA; his nephews, Matthew, Adam and Nicholas Koon; and his niece Connie Wells.
