She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Roosevelt Murphy and Betty Bowman Murphy; her husband Henry Tison Duncan; her brothers, Arnold Murphy and Harold Murphy; and her son-in-law Thomas Hart.
She is survived by: her children, Valentia Duncan (Loretta) of Rock, WV, Tim Duncan of Tazewell, VA, Henrietta Hart of Bluefield, VA, Anita Toy Blackwell (Steve) of Horsepen, VA and Jennifer Gayle Cooper (Jean) of War, WV.; and her niece Brenda Sue Dixon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Horsepen Church of Christ (2148 Horsepen Rd, Bandy, VA 24602).
