Francoise H. Lomont Rice Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francoise H. Lomont Rice of Strange Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Lomont; her husband James A. Rice; her stepsons, Ronnie and Tommy Rice; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Henrietta Rice, Glen and Bernard Rice.
She is survived by: her niece Gracie M. Ball (Charlie) of Strange Creek; her stepdaughter Darlene Brown of Denver, Colorado; her brother Gilbert Lomont of France; her grandchildren, Richard Brown, Chad Rice and Mindy Rice; her niece Lidia Lomont of Port Vendres, France; her cousin Adrienne Robineau of Port Townsend, Washington; and her close friends, Terry and Jeannie Colleran of Georgia. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Francoise requested memorial donations be made to Eureka Church, c/o Martha Young, 1900 Upper Mill Creek Rd., Frametown, WV 26623.
