He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon Corbett and Mattie Butcher Samples; and his siblings, Elliott Samples and Savina Allen. He is survived by: his wife Darlena Price Samples; and his children, Suellen Fast, James Samples, Regina Williams, Melda Clark, Dennis Samples, Angela Samples and Gregory Samples. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
