He is survived by: his sisters, Etha Robertson and Grace Lewis; his close friend Schirl Lynn Spinks; his grandsons, Roger Lavell Smith, Waymon Dale Smith, Jr. and John Noah Smith; and his sisters, Dolly Keffer, Patty Manning and Leona Dye. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
