He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Evans and Maudie Evans; his daughter Renee Adkins; his brothers, David Evans and William Evans; and his grandchild Tracy Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Evans; his sons, Sherman Evans, Travis Evans (Melinda), Danny Evans II (Christa) and Michael Evans; his siblings, Dennie Evans, Lola Sargent and Judy Adams; and his close friend Russell Gore. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
