It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Marie Castle (Switzer, West Virginia), born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walden Thompson and Sarah Thompson (Mullins); her husband Danny Castle; her son Paul Clinton Castle; and her siblings, Milton Thompson, Melvin Thompson, Tommy Thompson, Frank Thompson, William Thompson, Willard Thompson, Belle Conner, Louise Jeffrey, Luanna Creakman and Weathia Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Danny Castle (Garnet Williams); her grandchildren, Benji Castle, Maryann Shepherd, Danielle Castle and Johnathan Castle; her great grandchild Rugger Stinett; and her close friends, Bonnie Bevins, Trish White Tomblin, Sharey White, Janice Stone and Carlene Mowery Boggs.
