She is survived by: her husband Jimmie C. Carpenter; her daughters, Alice Janean Carpenter of Smithfield, VA and Vicki Renee Carpenter Roberts (Mardy) of Rossmore, WV; her siblings, Jack Armstrong of Georgia, Kenneth McCoy of Man, WV, Timothy McCoy of Georgia, Betty Armstrong Timmons of Kentucky and Barbara Armstrong Christian of Verner, WV; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Scherer Warren (Richard) of Smithfield, VA, Daniel Faine (Autum) of Omar, WV, Michael Scherer of Williamsburg, VA and Ethan Miller of Omar, WV; her great grandchildren, Daniel and Brody Warren of Smithfield, VA; and her pets, Chevy, Cyrus, Lilly Mae, Gucci, Dixie, Louis, Mercedes, Porche, Bandit, Little Buddy, Jade and Boots.
