He is survived by: his wife Kathy Layton; his children, Amy Layton of Charleston and Dustin Layton of Charleston; his siblings, Patricia Gatens of Sissonville and Leo Layton of Mansfield, Ohio; his grandson Garrett Layton; his mother-in-law Erma Igo of Charleston; and also Mark Johnson of Charleston.
