She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Preston Sisson and Pauline Carney Sisson; her husband Martin Cox; her brothers, Preston and Benjamin Nyle Sisson; and her stepgrandson Gareth Fujiwara-Perry.
She is survived by: her son John Martin Cox (Nancy); her stepdaughter Mary Cox Perry; her siblings, Doris Lee Beane and Joe Carroll Sisson (Jean); her granddaughters, Rachel Anne Rocha (Carlos), Leah Ashley Hassan (Ali) and Sarah Ellen Cox; her stepgranddaughters, Odessa Fujiwara-Perry and Summer Starling; her great grandchildren, Yusor Hassan and Zaid Hassan; and her stepgrandsons, Lemuel Fujiwara-Perry, Jax and Devin Starling.
