He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Edith Kesler Carte; his adoptive father John Robert; his grandmother McCoy of Union, WV.; his siblings, Robin McCoy and Evelyn Carte Holobek; his daughter Jackie Thompson (John); his grandson Conner of High Point, NC; his siblings, Joanna Skaggs (Jon) of Lewisburg, WV, Mitch Carte (Dianna) of Hico, WV, Sue Eckenrode of Loretto, PA, Tim Carte (Cheryl) and Virginia; his close friend Betty Comer of Lindside, WV; his cousin Sidney Johnston; and his friends, Ed, Trina Barker, Raymond Brooks of Augusta, KY, Andy, Pat Callison, Francis and Liz Pence of Union, WV. He was also cherished by numerous friends and former classmates.
