He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack Ellison and Mary Wickline Ellison; his daughter Tammy Ann Ellison; and his brothers, Lacy and Luther Ellison.
He is survived by : his wife Louise Abbott Ellison; his children, Steve Ellison (Sharon) of Lindside, WV, Kathy Ballard (Phil) of Union, WV and Betty Jo Atkins (Ernie) of Union, WV; his grandchildren, Jamie Ellison of Rainelle, WV, Ernie Atkins (Emily) of Covington, VA, Tamara Tyler (Nate) of Union, WV and Jason Ellison (Sarah) of Lindside, WV; his great grandchildren, Adrienne, Ernie V, Jase, Elizabeth, Elijah, Masie and Colton; his siblings, Ellen King (Bill) and Bill Ellison (Vivian) of Radford, VA; and his sister-in-law Deloris Ellison of Troutville, VA..
