Jean J. Nichols Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean J. Nichols of Union, West Virginia, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean J. Nichols to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Lewis and Mabel Shaver Crosier; her husbands, Stephen McCormick Johnston and Phillip Lee Nichols; her siblings, Virginia Dare Crosier, James Hoover, Franklin Delano "Jack", Gerald "Jerry" and Robert Lee "Bob" Crosier; and her nieces and nephews, Marion Stuart Kelly (Steele), William A. Steele Jr. of Texas, Robert McCoy of Pennsylvania and James McCoy (Jimmy) of Union.
She is survived by : her sisters-in-law, Margie Hanifan Crosier and Ether Goodwin Crosier; her friends, James and Talma Clarkson; her brothers, Albert Sidney Johnston Jr., Marion Stuart Steele (William A. Steele Sr.) and James Malcolm Johnston of Union; and her nieces and nephews, Julia Johnston Burckhalter (Belton) of Florida, Betty Marshall Johnston of Pittsburgh, Albert Sidney Johnston of Alderson, Virginia Johnston Steele of Pittsburgh and Paul Milburnn Ryan Jr. (Pat) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by numerous grand nieces and grand nephews descendant from her nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and out of love and respect for family and friends, a private family celebration of life for Jean and the late Jack M. Neel will be held in the Spring of 2021.
