She was predeceased by : her parents, John Frederick and Delphia Alice Thompson Dent; her husband Earnest E. Atkins, Jr.; and her siblings, William "Buck", Joe, Sam, Horace, Herbert Dent and Rosemary Dent.
She is survived by : her children, Mary Alice Hazelwood (Bob) of Lindside, WV and Earnest Atkins (Betty Jo) of Rock Camp, WV; her grandchildren, Robert E. Hazelwood (Lori) of Lexington, KY, Earnest Atkins (Emily) of Covington, VA, John Darrel Hazelwood of Lindside, WV, Tamara Tyler (Nate) of Rock Camp, WV and Andrew Hazelwood of Lewisburg, WV; and her great grandchildren, Ernie, Jase, Masie Atkins, Elijah, Colton Tyler and Grant Hazelwood.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lucy's honor to the Rock Camp United Methodist Church or the Monroe County Gideon Camp.
