We bid farewell to Bonnie K. McKee of Wardensville, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 6, 2025 at the age of 73. Bonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Bonnie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Bonnie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Jo King Funkhouser; and her son James Stanley McKee. She is survived by: her son Wayne L. Mckee of Acworth, GA; her siblings, Ivan S. Funkhouser, Jr. of Winchester, VA, Vickie Vance of Wardensville, WV, Sharon Hampton of Wardensville, WV and Lottie Johnson of Hodges, SC; and her grandchildren, Jacob Wayne Mckee and Sarah Elizabeth McKee.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Loy-Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory (110 W Main St, Wardensville, WV 26851). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
