It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carey L. Hockman of Wardensville, West Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Shirley Underwood McBee; and her granddaughter Hattie Jean Welch. She is survived by : her father Edward McBee of Front Royal; her husband Keith A. Hockman; her sons, Dakota A. T. Welch (Carie) of Yellow Spring, WV, Dylan W. A. Welch (Logan), Dalton G. R. Welch (Deijah) of Linden, VA, Dale A. Hockman (Courtney) of Wardensville, WV and Wyatt J. Hockman of Wardensville, WV; her siblings, Tammy Sharpe (David) of Front Royal, VA and Gary Wood of Southern, VA; her stepbrothers, Chris McBee and Derek McBee; her grandchildren, Waylon, Jayce and Colton; her niece Bethany Frame; and her nephew Brock Sharpe.
