It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. Nicola of Washington, West Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Jacob Nicola and Mary Ellen Nicola; his wife Janet Carolyn Nicola; his son James Nicola IV; and his siblings, Bill Nicola and Barbara Ellen.

He is survived by : his children, Larry Nicola (Robbin) and Donna Thomspon (Randy); his grandchildren, Heather Cain (Isaac), Larry D. Nicola (Tasha), Shawn Nicola (Michelle) and Randy Thompson (Jessie); and his sisters, Mary Rose, Mary Ann, Ruthy and Joy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 1601 2nd Ave Charleston, WV 25387.
