It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Eleanor Barry of Washington, West Virginia, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William and Norma Iris Kaufman (Hogue); her husband James A. Barry; and her siblings, Darrel, Paul, Roger Kaufman, Norma Treadway and Betty Kaufman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Baker (Larry) of Washington, WV and Brenda Weaver of Washington, WV; her grandchildren, Whitney Riggs, Sabrina Baker, Ariana Weaver and Barry Weaver; her stepgranddaughter Angela Dugan; and her siblings, Charles "Bill" Kaufman of Parkersburg, James "Bob" Kaufman of Vienna and Gloria "Diane" Allen (Gary) of Parkersburg. She is also survived by five step great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
