With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Mae Allen Houchins of Wayside, West Virginia, who passed away on July 11, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ashby Allen and Maude Gwinn Allen; her husband Rufus Houchins; and her siblings, Frances Vass, Sadie Peck, Hilda Arndt, Louise Sherwood, Ernest Allen, Jesse "Buster" Allen and James Allen.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Houchins Jones (Marshall Jones); her grandchildren, Chris Jones (Tina Jones) and Leah Jones (Hunter Kirby); her great grandchildren, Taylor Keeling, Lori Jones, Ashton Jones, Kiersten Keeling and Madison Keeling; and her sisters, Rachel Blalock, Jean Rigsby (Eugene) and Betty Woodland (Dan). She is also survived by 150 nieces/nephews.
