He was predeceased by : his parents, Elijah Shelton and Emi Lee McCourt (Hosey); and his siblings, Robert Lee Hosey, Carolyn McCourt, Barbara Knock, Arnold "Snail" McCourt and Mary Simmons.
He is survived by : his wife Jennifer L. McCourt; his children, Shawana Sartin (Jamie) of Gassaway, David McCourt of Buckhannon, Tony Green (Jordan) of Cowen and Justin McCourt of Webster Springs; his grandchildren, Tyler, Ellie and Sean; his siblings, Thurman McCourt (Shirley), Clifford McCourt (Betty), Paul McCourt (Janie), Donna Stephenson (Bill) and Georgie Stout (Richard); and his close friend Danny Brooks.
