We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2022, at the age of 84, Phyllis Rutherford (Welch, West Virginia), born in Elbert, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira Otis Myers and Virginia Clay Brown Myers; and her husband Jesse Nelson Rutherford. She is survived by : her children, Scott Nelson Rutherford of Indian Land, SC and Crystal Marie Rutherford (Gregory Patsey) of Coalwood; her brother Ralph Myers of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Matthew Wimmer (Amber) of Chesapeake, VA, Noah Zackary Patsey (Megan Alger Patsey) of Coalwood and Natalia Patsey Brown (William) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to help defray the funeral expenses.
