It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Blevins of Welch, West Virginia, born in Coalwood, West Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Branch and Daisy Branch (Richardson) of Virginia; her husband Herman E. Blevins; and her brother Paul Branch. She is survived by : her children, John E. Blevins (Ed) of Nashville, GA, Rebecca Lassak (Skip) of Sunbury, OH and Vicki Sherrill (Bryan) of Cornelius, NC; and her brother Kenneth Branch of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Welch, WV, Mt Zion UNC in Cornelius, NC, or charity of choice.
