He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Earl Butcher and Eula Pauline Butcher (Cutlip); and his brother William Kent Butcher. He is survived by : his sons, Dana "Punky" Lawrence Butcher of Weston and Lucas Hayden Butcher of Weston; his grandchild Peyton Butcher; and his siblings, Marvin Eugene Butcher (Loretta Sue) of Webster Springs, WV and Cathy Diane Williams (Edward James) of Camden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be sent to Hardman Family Funeral Home at P.O. Box 1287 Weston, WV 26452 for funeral expenses.
