She was predeceased by : her parents, Burtia Edgar and Clara Thelma McDowell White; her husband Ross Randall Mines; her son Eric Douglas Mines; and her siblings, James Myles White, Burtia Edgar White Jr., William Henry White, Edith Marie Owens and Pearl Irene Honaker.

She is survived by : her children, Randy Mines (Patsy), Karen Sparks (Tim) and Stephanie Huffman; her sister Mattie Sue White; her grandchildren, Michelle Carra (Brian), Alayna Sparks, Adam Sparks and Blaine Huffman (Montana Morgan); her great grandchildren, Claire Carra and Abby Carra; her nieces, Belinda Arbogast, Donna Smith (Charles) and Susan Early (Tommy); her great-niece Crissy Connell (Paul); and her close friend Elizabeth May (Nathan Strong). She is also survived by several other nieces, and nephews.
