It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theron Burger Hitchcock Jr. of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, born in Delano, California, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron B. and Catherine Ponchart Hitchcock, Sr.; his wife Cora DeWitt Hitchcock; his son Mark Hitchcock; his stepchildren, Kathy Williams and Donald Hall; and his brother Laton Hartman.
He is survived by: his daughter Misty Hitchcock; his stepchildren, Rita Keeney of Culpepper, VA, Lisa Howard of Caldwell, WV, Lonnie Hall, Jr. of Lewisburg and John Hall of Lewisburg; his daughter-in-law Heather Craft-Hitchcock; his close friend Thelma Pomeroy of Lewisburg; and his sisters, Joyce Robertson of Sitka, AK., Cathy Strong of California City, CA., Linda Ray of Greenville, NC. and Nancy Campbell of Winston-Salem, NC.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
