She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Bryan and Mary Alma McGrady Dalton; her husband Paul Franklin Nester; her son Dale Nester; and her siblings, Gracie White and Carlos Dalton.

She is survived by : her children, Paul Stephen Nester (Diane), Judy Hall, Paula Anglin of Covington, VA, Denise Waid and Shannon Gilbert (Eric); and her sisters, Millie Spence (Thurman) of Caldwell, WV and Glenda Boggs (Jerry) of Union, WV. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
