He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Kelly and Nellie Waggoner Kelly; his former life partner Bonnie Broyles Kelly; his son Billy "Cookie" Kelly; and his sister Rose Kelly Wright.

He is survived by : his wife Wilma McMillion Kelly; his daughter Kathy Callison (Mike); his daughter-in-law Samantha Kelly; his stepson Neil McMillion (Tina) of Harvest, AL; his siblings, Shirley MacCartney (Wayne) of Irvine and John Kelly (Patty Lovell); and his stepgrandchildren, Eli, Sam Peppers, Cody Burgess (Lisa), Randall Burgess (Morgan) and Chris Boggs. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family asks for donations of sympathy be made in lieu of flowers to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
