She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas William Shanholtz and Ruth Gibbons Shanholtz (Crites); her husband Roland Bolyard; and her siblings, William Shanholtz and Mildred Simpson.

She is survived by : her children, Dr. Ricky Lee Houdersheldt (Shawntel), Gregory Allan Houdersheldt and Tammy Lynn Houdersheldt; her stepchildren, John, Debbie Bolyard, Diane and Butch Edmiston; her grandchildren, Benjamn Houdersheldt (Kelly), Mindy Hamilton-Shields (Taylor), Amy Belt (Patrick), Matthew Houdersheldt, Heidi Hamilton (John Cruz), Joshua Houdersheldt, Sara Taylor (Lou Adams), Zachary Houdersheldt (Bridgette), James Jones (Sharia), Ayla Houdersheldt (Scott Stotler) and Ryleigh Houdersheldt; and her friend Mary Louise Houdersheldt. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law.
