With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan E. Carpenter of Kaycee, Wyoming, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on May 13, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred E. Woodring and Ellen A. Woodring; her husband Clifford B. Fauber (Buck); her stepchildren, Cora L. Lingle (Carpenter) and Neil Carpenter; and her stepgrandson Toby Lingle.

She is survived by : her family, Cora Lee Lingle (Carpenter), Neil Carpenter and Judy Huff (Carpenter); her children, Terri Frederick (Casper), Christina Nickelson (Rawlins), Kathy Baughman (Kaycee) of Kaycee, Rob Fauber (Virginia) of Kaycee, Samuel Fauber (Evansville) of Evansville and Brion Fauber (Liz) of Kaycee; her stepdaughter Judy Huff (Carpenter) of Colorado; her brothers, Jeff Woodring (Martha) of Littleton and Lee Woodring (Meg Griffith) of Georgia; and her daughter Anne Currier (Paul) of Nebraska. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (1541 E 6th St, Casper, WY 82601).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to be donated to Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions, the Make a Wish Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
