We bid farewell to Joanne Marie Nelsen of Casper, Wyoming, born in Shakopee, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 7, 2025 at the age of 71. Joanne Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Nelsen; her parents, Gordon Pickus and Virginia Pickus; and her brother Henry Pickus. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Lou Dick (Nelsen) of Windsor, Colorado; and her siblings, Eugene Pickus, Vernon Pickus (Sue), Darrell Pickus (Barbara), Bonnie Jeurissen of Minnesota, Irene LeMieux (Mike) of Minnesota, Sandra Pickus of Minnesota and Brenda Pickus of Minnesota. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
