He is survived by : his parents, Robert Sands and Traci Sands; his brother Robert Sands III; his sister-in-law Braidee Sands; his nieces and nephews, Kenzee, Bailee and Lil Rob; and his sister Haley Sands. He is also survived by several grandpas, grandmas, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Spencer and family would like in lieu of flowers for everyone to donate to Wagners Outdoor Outfitters (Sands Fishing Fund).
