He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Thieman; and his children, Gerald Kent Thieman, III (Kimberly), Tara Dee Knisley (Richard) and Jason Kristopher Thieman (Tonya). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
