He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Sr. Jahr and Viola Jahr; his wife LaVetta; his brother Jules Jahr; and his grandson Kyle.
He is survived by: his pet Zero; his brother John Jahr (Sally); his sister-in-law Roxy Jahr; his daughters, Kimberly Moody and Kris Barowsky (Todd); his grandchildren, Cecil Dietz (Vanessa), Brandi Harnish (Glen), Ryan Scott (Jaclyn), Haley Rider (Dylln), Tyler Holcomb, Trevor Barowsky and Austin Bates; and his great grandchildren, Axel, Reaygon, Jackson, Henry, Emaleigh, Rosie, Estrella and Cazmeraie.
