He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Wayne and Lila Carol Howe; and his brother Michael Kevin. He is survived by : his wife Teresa J Howe; his children, Jeffrey Howe, Amanda, Joe Chamberlain, Timothy and Pauliina Howe; and his sister Carol Schwartz. He is also survived by two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to Catholic Community Hospice (CCH).
