He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin J. Elmer and Merle Elmer (Johnson); and his siblings, Jim Elmer and Judy Brighton. He is survived by: his children, Stacey Gatherum (Troy), Nick Elmer (Cindi), Tina Johnson (Jim), Charles Elmer (Tomilynn), Snow Palmisano and William Elmer (Jamie); and his sister Nola Bluemel (Rodney) of Lyman. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
