With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frieda Snell Dow of Gillette, Wyoming, born in Shell Rock, Iowa, who passed away on December 19, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arends and Hermiene Arends; her husbands, Sidney Snell and Paul Dow of Nora Springs; her son Jim Snell; her siblings, Henry (Marlene), Maynard Arends (Dorothy) and Mamie Arends; and her niece Theresa Arends.
She is survived by: her friend Dorothy Heinold; her daughter Janette Snell Kienzle; her grandchildren, Heather Swinton (Andrew), Curtis Snell, Hannah Kienzle and Danielle Gray (Trevor); her great grandchildren, Brinley and Weston Gray; and her daughter-in-law Kay Snell. She is also survived by nieces and nephew; and several daughters-in-law and grandchildren/great grandchildren-in-law.
