We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2021, at the age of 83, Georgia Lee Schmidt of Gillette, Wyoming, born in Sandpoint, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe South and Margaret South; her children, Carla Fitch (Monte) of Jordan, MT and Billy; and her son-in-law Kyle.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley White of Boise, Jim South of Bridger, MT, Kenny South of Jordan, MT and Dan South of Jordan, MT; and her children, Ronda Gaffield (Pat) of Gillette, WY, Deb Ledbetter of Gillette, WY, Sherry Beasley (John Heimann) of Wright, WY, Joe Schmidt (Chris) of Coon Rapids, MN. and Shelly Besel (Leonard) of Gillette, WY.. She is also survived by her six children, five siblings and their spouses, 26 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made in Georgia's name to the Seventh Day Adventest Church 901 Apricot St., Gillette, WY 82716.
