It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Arthur Mravlja (Gillette, Wyoming), born in Cooperstown, New York, who passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Mravlja and Eleanor Mravlja (Albrecht); and his brother Thomas Mravlja. He is survived by: his former spouse Jule Engle; his close friend Connie Allen; his siblings, Marilyn MacLean (Bob), Peter Mravlja (Anka Wilkins) and Andy Mravlja (Nina); his daughters, Jody Bucknam (David) and Jennifer Bowden (Joe); his stepchildren, Tony Castro (Sherry), Rikilynn Oedekoven (Mike Rohrich) and Bruce Allen (Tammie); his grandchildren, Logan, Kyle Bucknam, Paige Edwards (Jonathan), TJ, Justin Castro, Shelby Phillips (Steven), Kennedy Bradley, Erik Odekoven (Cynthia), Austin, Shayelyn, Kaden and Sophia Allen; and his great grandchildren, Violet, Juniper Edwards, Zaryah, Tityn Phillips, Braxton and Reign Oedekoven. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up at Gillette Memorial Chapel for donations to the family to offset expenses.
