It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Edith Callender of Gillette, Wyoming, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mesteth and Christina Mesteth (Standing Bear); and her husband Cyral Callender. She is survived by: her children, Donna McClaren, Sherman Callender, Ronda Torres, Cyral Callender, Darrell Callender, Ronald Callender, Julie Glazier and Lisa Wiley. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to benefit Hospice of Campbell County.
