He was predeceased by: his parents, Ryburn Butler and Letha Butler (Thompson); his wife Connie Bridges; his brother Jimmy Butler; and his sister-in-law Jackie Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Butler, Brenda Opseth (John) and Tommie Butler Jr. (Aya); his siblings, Charles Butler and Janie Wilkerson (Terry); and his granddaughters, Alicia Gilmer and Hannah Brown. He is also survived by his three great-grandsons, four great-granddaughters, and numerous nephews and nieces.
