He is survived by : his parents, Helen Venier (Edgar) of Cody, WY and Elbert Sowerwine III (Barbara Sowerwine) of Cody, WY; his wife Barbara Sowerwine (Wilson); his children, E. O. Sowerwine (Allie) and Sarah Sowerwine (Brennen Fitzgerald) of Powell, WY; his siblings, J. F. Sowerwine (Lisa) of Billings, MT, Nicole Stevenson of Darwin and Jon Sowerwine (Gina) of Cody, WY; and his mother-in-law Betty Wilson of Hulett, WY. He is also survived by four nieces, eight nephews, his granddaughter, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
