It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Essie Mae Skillings of Kinnear, Wyoming, born in Fort Washakie, Wyoming, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewi Washakie and Nellie Washakie; her siblings, Romer Washakie and Sheila Abeyta; her grandson Tony Harris; and her uncle Francie Nicol.
She is survived by: her husband Fenton James Skillings; her children, Andrew Jackson Fergueson, Brenda Mae Fergueson (George), Dassie Annette Fergueson O'Neal and Colleen Kay Fergueson Harris (Gus); and her siblings, Russel, John, Pat, Charles Washakie and Gayle Josie Abeyta (Jacob). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
