She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfonso Sanchez and Maggie Sanchez; her sister Stella Suazo; and her brother-in-law Candido Suazo. She is survived by: her husband Fred Mascareñas; her children, Ernie (Carmen), Larry (Arlene), Gerry, Michael Mascareñas (Katja Cooper) and Marlene Mascareñas; and her brother Steve Sanchez (Charlene). She is also survived by five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Laramie, 1754 Centennial Dr. Laramie, WY.
