We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2025, at the age of 94, James Johnstone Lewis Jr. of Laramie, Wyoming passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry James Johnstone's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May James Johnstone's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnstone Lewis, Sr. and Rosa Lewis (Shreves); and his son Kenneth Brian Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Eva Rose Defilippo; and his sons, James Johnstone Lewis III, Dennis Michael Lewis (Tami) and Mark Steven Lewis (Maria). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Beal Memorial Cemetery (316 Beal Pkwy NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548).
Memorial contributions can be made in James' honor to Hospice of Laramie and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
