“I remember meeting VJ for the first time when I took over running my family’s photography business in downtown Laramie Wyoming in 1993. VJ stopped into Ludwig Photography to leave some film for processing. VJ was an incredible journalist and newspaper reporter in an era when men dominated the field especially in Wyoming. I admired her for her professionalism, warm smile, wit and wisdom. VJ was a confident, capable, strong woman. I admired her greatly. She will be missed. Anne Brande”
