He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Ruggera and David Ruggera; his grandparents, Anna Ribovich and John Ruggera Sr. (Clementina); his parents-in-law, John Logan and Ardath Logan; his son-in-law Claude "Bug" Butler; and his brother-in-law John Logan Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann; his daughters, Annette Combs (Keith), Bernadette Butler (Don Schoenfelder), Charolette Markham (Ed) and Donnette Kelley (Mike); his grandchildren, Danielle Alarid (Combs), Kelsey Flores (Michael), Cassie Mullins (Stephen), John Butler, Tyson Markham (Terri), Jenntry Leftwich (Blake), Kimberlee Straube and Sam Kelley; his great grandchildren, Addison, Aiden Leftwich, Owen Mullins, Cadince, Acara, Genesee Alarid and Nora Markham; his sister-in-law Barbara Logan; and his cousin Anna Bazzanella.
