It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Jesus Petty Sr. of Rock Springs, Wyoming, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Keith Edward Petty (Aurora) and Aurora Marie Gil; his wife Rosemarie Ann Petty; his sons, Edward J. Petty Jr. of Big Piney, Wyoming and Raymond Petty of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his siblings, Joseph Petty (Carol) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Kenneth Petty (Karen) of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Anita Petty Smith (Lynn) of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Betty Mott (Dennis) of Casper, Wyoming; his grandchildren, Kayle Petty (Libby), Joseph Petty, Madison Petty, Jaron Petty, Jordyn Petty, Chase Petty, George Surbeck (Amber), Nathan Surbeck, Dominic Fiscina and Matthew Fiscina; his great grandchildren, Willow Petty, Joseph Petty, Annady Surbeck and Lydia Petty; his aunt Theresa Thomas (John); his brother Andrew Petty; and his grandfathers, Howard Petty (Verda) and Joe Gil (Salud). He was also cherished by numerous cousins; nieces and nephews.
In Christian love of neighbor, face coverings & social distancing are strongly encouraged.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, National Rifle Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and American Legion Archie Hay Post #24.
