He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Charles and Flora Maye Burriss (Eyers); his parents-in-law, Herman and Rachel Hartung; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Nab and Carol Hartung Blevins.
He is survived by: his cousins, Mary and Marilyn; his wife Esther Darlene Hartung of Torrington; his granddaughter Rachel Whitfield Adler; his daughters, Stacy Lynnette Berres of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Stephanie Dawn Whitfield (Daniel Schaaf) of Estes Park; and his granddaughter Rachel Adler (Brian) of Westminster, Colorado..
