She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Fentress and Bettye Cassidy Weitman; her daughter Phyllis J. Mitchell; and her grandson Jeremy Stallions. She is survived by : her husband Robert "Buddy" Morrison; her grandchildren, Candace Lightsey (Brian), Jordan Stallions (Jaime) and Tiffany Folmar (Daniel); and her siblings, Gary Weitman, Danny Weitman, James Weitman (Jackie) and Gayle Lee. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
