We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2024, at the age of 91, John Irey of Sahuarita, Arizona, born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank L. Irey and Margaret McMahon; his siblings, Ruth McMahon (Free) and Frank Irey; and his great grandchild Lewis Wilding.

He is survived by : his wife Grace Crompton; his son Jim Jr. (Jennifer Andrews); his granddaughters, Colleen Tolliver (Mike), Wendy Wilding (Russell), Jane Irey, Melinda Mueller (Clint) and Amy Brown (Aaron); his sister-in-law Faye Irey; his daughter Jane; and his grandson Wesley.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (136 Sacred Heart Rd, Monongahela, PA 15063).
